Is Griezmann underrated?

I honestly think his abilities have grown so much as a creator but some people still view him as a poacher. I’m relatively new to the game but I watched him last season with Atletico and he made me a fan of the team.

No, he's in the top 10 players in the world. He's a pretty great second striker, after having moved there from the wing. I consider him a striker because in Simeone's system, the two banks of four is central, and Griezmann is higher up the field, not part of the midfield line. He's creativity is a function of how important he is to Atleti, as he's pretty much central to everything they do in the final third.
As far as being solely a poacher, I don't think he ever had that reputation. His role is more accurately described as a support striker role now.

No one of any actual importance to the game. Mostly trolls on his highlight vids.
Edit: And I believe he’s a top 10 player but he never shows up on any lists outside of “Honorable Mentions”.

I think he's appropriately rated. Top 15-20 player who shows up for France in big tournaments.

In WC semi-final Griezmann was very greedy to pass the ball and not take strong attempt to score.
