Is Geoff Cameron going to start Saturday?

If not, how can Jurgen possible explain him not starting?
Geoff, although isn't a world class player, he is a decent player at almost every defensive position. He's reliable, very experience and proven against top talent. How Alvarado or Yedlin could start over him on the back line is beyond me.
Am I missing somehting here?

Is Shane going to ban himself from posting if the US win 2-0 as usual?

He's said his first choice at LB and RB will be DMB and Fabian respectively. So that leaves CB as an option for Cameron as I don't see him playing CDM at all. To me he and Besler should be back there but the love affair with Alvarado might still be going on so who knows

Let's remember who we are talking about here. A head coach who talks about players challenging themselves and getting playing time at the highest levels.
So it only makes sense he will start the one who hasn't played a minute in the Mexican league in a month while the one who has played pretty much every minute of the EPL season will sit out.

Alvarado is starting, so no. It's better we just accept that now instead of being shocked on Saturday.

Yeah, our CB pairing should be Cameron and Besler. It's a shame we didn't have friendlies to get them some practice together before this game, though. If Alvarado starts over Cameron I will actually burst an aneurysm.

Aww. .. .all the other trendy managers get to have ball playing CB

All of those guys are ball playing CBs. Alvarado is just a shitty one.
