ETA:my cousin has lived in England the past year and says the word count gets thrown around a lot. I haven't seen the word in any of his posts yet. Plus how would a guy that just moved to NOLA from London even know about this site. Did he just get here and go, oh, I'm an LSU fan and need a message board?

Three of my work mates told me about this site, said it had an active football board. It would be rude to throw around the venacular on a board where I am a guest.

I figured this one was more appropriate for the SB's tastes.

I ran into an arsenal fan late one night in nola. He said he was very impressed with my knowledge of the epl. European Football has grown in popularity. With cable, i can watch so much soccer.

Now that we have established that you are a Fulham fan, tell me your thoughts on Jol so far. I personally like the players he has brought into the club:
Russian striker (too lazy to try and spell his name)
Diarra - time will tell if he fits in with the club, but has big club experience and I'll take a flyer on him

Ruiz - shows flashes of good things, but has been just "ok" so far

Riise (did Jol bring him in?)

got Zamora and his old brittle bones out of Craven Cottage

So sad to see how far he's fallen. Maybe I just don't see enough of him, but I had him on my fantasy team and watched him against Liverpool and he's regressed so much since his days in the back line for the reds.

He has been pretty steady on the back line for Fulham. Much better than Pantsil and the Messican that we had.

Gotcha. He must have come into form because I was excited as hell when he finally came back to the EPL from Roma, and then his start was pretty shaky. Glad he got it together.
