If U.S. Soccer had its own version of Wembley...

...where would it be? How big would it be? What would it be called?
Just popped into my head today while researching the new Wembley. If we had a big soccer-specific stadium for USMNT matches, MLS Cup Finals, USOC Finals, heck, the 20__ World Cup Final (we're gonna get it one day)...what would it look like?

Where is the smallest concentration of Hispanics? Put it there. Name it George Washington's Chainsaw Dick Stadium.

I had the same thought last night while watching the game. Would anyone be in favor of something like this or is the U.S. too big for this to work?

Somewhere in Columbus, far away from Mexicans.

Seattle / Columbus / Nashville would be solid choices. Nashville, IMO, is a dark dark dark horse. However, it's close to lots of cities and locations. Easy access and far enough away that we could play Mexico and have no fears.
NYC/LA/Washington_DC/Miami/Texas/Kansas City = bad locations. Kansas City would be solid but if we played Mexico. IDK.
frick every country not named USA Stadium.

I was thinking Kansas City or St. Louis...somewhere in the middle. Not sure about STL's soccer heritage, though.

I would gladly take my seat in the "Charlie Davies Safe Ride Home Program" west end stands.

They don't have a MLS team, but they're always in talks of getting an expansion one.
I think St. Louis's location would be perfect.

I love both the Washington Chainsaw Dick Stadium and the Bruce Arena.
In all honesty I would think it would have to be located in NYC.

I don't know about the location, but I'm 100% behind this name..
Anywhere that won't be dominated by Mexicans works for me

We could play outdoors in Minneapolis-St Paul (4.6% Hispanic). The first game in the fourth round of qualifying is February 6. What Hispanic country wouldn't hate that trip? I would steal Lambeau's nickname and call the stadium "The Frozen Tundra". Buffalo is another option (2.9% Hispanic).
In seriousness, I would like to see the City of Washington DC renovate RFK and sign a deal with US Soccer to play half of our MNT games there. It's within a 6 hour drive of a huge population and we have history there already.

I found this list of US metro areas sortable by demographics. It turns out that Pittsburgh has the lowest Hispanic population of the major cities - 1.3%. I think Heinz Field would be a great place to play.
