He looked like an American Marco Reus out there. He could play anywhere in the attack 4 imo,

If only he was the actual Marco Reus. His style kind of dictates that he'll end up on the wings and he can play behind the striker it looks like, but idk how comfortable he'd be if we gave him the keys to the number 10 car for an entire match.

Bacon looks a bit light to play the target man in our system, I agree with you that he'll probably end up on the left wing for us. He's ideal to pair with Jozy when we go with 2 strikers.

Yeah I'm not sure how well he would hold up play as a lone striker, still need to see more out of him. Apparently he doesn't really like to track back on defense, so against stronger teams he'll either have to learn or sit the bench. In that interview someone posted earlier today Air Jo was fancying himself as quite the poacher. If we run the 442 then I think he's a prime candidate to play one of those striker spots.

I'm curious as to how we'd look with Donovan on the right, Dempsey on the left cutting in with FJ overlapping, and Bacon manning the 10. sitting underneath Jozy. I bet that could be deadly

Yeah that would be fun, those guys are all so fluid that you don't even need to give them a designated position. The speed and skill of those guys would be a nightmare to interchangeably mark.

From what we saw seems like he can face up the D and take men on, something we dont have a lot of out of our pool of attackers. Liked what I saw in that limited time out there

In all honestly, and my brother and I were discussing this last night, he plays A LOT like Clint Dempsey but with a higher work rate.

Quite frankly, while he isn't as polished as Deuce, I think he has better first touch instincts and whatnot.

I think Bacon is the greatest nickname in the history of the SB. New comers are going to have no idea what Bacon means
