Good choice. Poised for a good year in the EPL and, hopefully, a good run in the UCL.

Now you have to root against their star player and future goal keeper tomorrow.

I know I'm late to the party, but I think Newcastle deserves consideration. Newcastle aren't the flavor of the month like some other clubs. Just a working class team with a great stadium, great uniforms and brown ale.

I'm going man city. Owner is in a similar situation as my drag racing team. Wealthy descendant of the ruling family from Qatar who joined Alan Johnson.

Man City's owner said "F it. I want to be the best so I'm gonna do what it takes". (This is my conclusion after 2 hrs of research)
But this is now my team

I got Coleman's last year. He had a really great season. Just ask Carzola

Ross is always a solid choice. He got a tattoo of the date of his Everton debut.

Stones is another to consider. He's the future at CB. He almost made the 23 man roster for England.

Newcastle aren't my favorite team, but they are my favorite EPL team....I went to a soccer camp when I was younger and all the guys that ran it were from Newcastle. They've been a dumpster fire for about the past decade though, they legitimately had two players fist fight with each other in the middle of a game

The year I picked Tottenham, they finished 7th I think. Maybe higher.

I just watched a bunch of games and I was drawn to them. I liked their name, the name of their stadium, the atmosphere. All of it. I also liked that they had rivals that were more successful than them. Sports can be more enjoyable when you aren't expected to win every game. That's why being an LSU football fan is hard sometimes. Even when they win, did they look good enough?

And don't let anyone talk you out of supporting a club because they aren't top tier right now. Every club is just a Russian billionaire or an Emir away from being a top tier club.

Not like Sean. First time I saw the name in the books (15 years ago), I said "see-mus" in my head. Just never clicked till the movie came out a couple years later.

That sounds like the most bad-arse name.

How could anyone root for a team called "Chelsea" ?

I just don't know much, but if you tell me more about Arsenal i might start watching them.

Their nickname is "The Gunners". The logo is a cannon. We have a Big fricking German named Mertersacker (doesn't that just sound badass?). Jack Wilshere is England's version of Stuart Holden (really bad leg injury which always seems to flare up and sideline him for a time). Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is among the most exciting new English prospects because he's lightning fast and uses that pace to his advantage. And, of course, Ramsey (better known as Rambo) is turning into a brilliant, hard working CM.

Anymore questions?
