How would you feel if the US boycotted the 2022 World Cup?

I don't think I would have a problem with it honestly, as long as other countries followed suit. I think that, and sponsor pressure will be the only way to see changes made to FIFA.
What if the US and other countries said frick off to FIFA, and held a tournament themselves that year. That would be nuts.
Probably would never happen though

I want USA in every world cup. Wouldn't like it if we skipped out.

I would prefer this over boycotting and not playing at all.

I would support a boycott if other countries were as well.

The corruption thing sucks but this is retarded.

Are we talking boycott by not even making the tournament or making it and saying "frick it, we aren't coming?"
Either way, no.
Either way, no.

Why would we boycott a World Cup that's going to be on our own turf?

Definitely wouldn't want to boycott unless other prominent nations were as well (Germany, Brazil, Italy, Argentina, Spain, etc.). That would never happen so it's a non issue

Boycotting with everyone else and holding a separate tournament? Sure.
Just not playing because some dirty terrorist money lined the pockets of few corrupt FIFA members? Nah. In fact I can't think of a more enjoyable place for the US to win a WC than in the homeland of the terrorists.

I'd be way more pissed and bitchy than anyone was over the Landy omission.

This thought actually crossed my mind yesterday while watching the John Oliver rant. They are on pace for 4,000 deaths of employees making the stadium. I was thinking that might be worthy of boycotting over the corruption. At what point do the high level countries turn away in disgust?

I would be okay with it. Problem is, so would FIFA.

eufa should start working on a tourney to rival 2022
u take away the euro teams, ask concacaaf to grow some balls and join the tourney, and south american teams, who gives a frick to world cup. fifa nuts are clipped.
