He's doing well this season. Got several assists on a team that only has one real goal scoring threat.
And if it was for one season, I would put Beasley over Shea.

A. Probably not - especially if you were to replace Rimando with Sean Johnson and Aurelien Collin with somebody like an Ike Opara or Matt Hedges, both of which make sense. 2015 Aurelien Collin is not the same as 2011 Collin.
B. I know it matters BECAUSE EUROPE LOL MLS, but Manchester City's average age was right at 29 - and it didn't hurt them too badly. Newcastle is the youngest team in the EPL (25 years) and they suck arse.

City's old arse squad defiantly matters don't be silly and it did hurt them this year. Thats why they need a major overhaul.

Not sure why the age criticism is so trendy around here. MLS skews older in terms of its stars--we all know that. I wish it weren't the case, but it is.

Honestly, the way the teams are picked.... they'd probably be nothing to write home about. There's finally enough talent in MLS where they wouldn't get relegated immediately, but they'd never sniff Europe.
NOW. If given a club and coaching staff charged with building an EPL team hand picking players from the MLS balancing talent with chemistry and the Manager's system, I think you could have an Everton/West Ham/.....McBride/Dempsey era Fulham - caliber team.

I agree that this team likely wouldn't get into Europe--maybe sneak in with a 6th or 7th spot (in the event of cup winner already qualifying), but just. More than likely it'd be a middling team.
