Dempsey, Villa and Martins up front with Kaka and Gerrard in the middle. Idk if the Defense could do much but we got some solid players.

Well, they would get at least six points each season because they would play Chelsea twice...

Yeah Man United seems to be the only team that can beat them.

Those guys are pretty old

we already know Gerrard can't hack it, he would slip or stomp the All-Star team out of the match.

Only one of these players is an MLS all star.

Not sure what you mean. Dempsey and Martins have both played on the all star team and the rest will be guaranteed in.

Forwards:
Altidore
David Villa
Zardes
Robbie Keane

Midfield:
Clint
Kaka
Zusi
Bradley
Beckerman
Nguyen
Feilhaber
Mix

Defense:
Omar Gonzalez
Bobby Boswell
Matt Besler
Sean Franklin
Matt Hedges
Shea

Goalies
Romando
Hamid

I'm sure I'm missing some, this is just off the top of my head. You could build a pretty descent team, probably finish 10-15 range.

That back line would get torn to shreds

I feel really good about this guy going forward for the national team. Just a mountain of potential.

I can agree with this. No threat to top teams but would survive relegation for sure.

Who do you have as a coach?

Yeah that's the problem, other than Omar not much "top" talent in the MLS.

For coach, my biased pick would be Ben Olsen. Realistically, I think it has to be Bruce Arena though.

Omar's lack of awareness would be on full show in the EPL

No way Oba or BWP would be left off for Zardes.

Oparra would also be there if healthy. Jermaine Jones would likely make it over Zusi. Also, some of the attackers from FC Dallas would likely make it (Perez, Diaz, or Castillo).

It's a fun hypothetical though.

I don't think they'd do terribly. Maybe around 15th. And that's coming from an avowed MLS hater for as long as its been around.

You do realize that MLS has players that aren't either American or a foreign DP, right?

Not to mention that Valeri is finally healthy. Can't leave him out of the Best XI.
