-Dempsey and Bradley both leave their strong European sides to return to MLS.
-No MLS players (outside of Dempsey) go on loan to teams in other leagues.
-Jozy is still playing for Sunderland.
All of this taking place in a World Cup year.

at the very least, they'll be in midseason form heading into the WC.

I'm sure that he realizes that he has very little control over where his players decide to play, especially established players
I think that the big one is Bradley though he has demonstrated previously that he isn't willing to spend most of his time on the bench. The timing was strange, but I don't think that it will really affect his World Cup performance.

Form is fallacy.
At least that's what the great Alexi keeps telling us.
You also forgot to mention Jermaine Jones. The way things are proceeding I expect him to sign an 8-year contract with Chivas USA.

Another Dolo would be nice albeit not all with the same team.

Except that he's said several times already that he wants to finish his career in the states.

We should just go straight 94 and call everyone in now for a six month camp

ive never seen that, he is already 32 so him joining the MLS in a few years is just another player in their end years riding it out. That doesn't really help the league. Imagine him like 4 or 5 years ago in MLS destroying everyone with every tackle

He could still destroy most people with every tackle.

Why do the ones who are really solid players and can play in Europe leave for MLS while the ones who are going to be fringe guys in Europe go over there (like Brek)?

If guys like Zusi, Besler, Gonzalez, Donovan and co. go on loan, they would basically be playing games from March 2013 up until the WC, without a break other than December 2013 (and even for Zusi and Besler, their seasons ended 12/7), and all the way through the WC to the end of the 2014 MLS season. Playing from March 2013-December 2014 without any kind of break isn't beneficial imo.
