I just want to hear your opinions? What could be his ceiling? I think he’s in the perfect system for him at Chelsea. I also think, right now, the USMNT could be the Croatia of the next World Cup as long as we really focus on our players abroad rather than the MLS boys

He’s the best player to play for the USMNT. Seems to be hot and cold sometimes, extremely quick but quite easily knocked off the ball.

Sometimes shows his immaturity but loves to take on defenders and usually can beat any defender when he’s on his game.

I can only assume you are excluding the 2018 and 1998 World Cups.

Croatia's whole first choice midfield/wingers/striker were all better in 2018 than anybody in our pool currently.

Would even be hard to find a CB better than Lovren.

Also, he's injury prone which is concerning considering his age.

But he has the Clint Dempsey trait that so many of our forward players lack, he's not afraid to "try shite".

I’m no way is pulisic on hazards level and most likely never will be, but he certainly drives at defenders and draws them off before laying it off the way hazard did.

That’s hard to say. They’re attacking players were much, much more experienced in top level soccer. Between Rakatic & Modric alone is a combined how many trophies? We’ll get there some day. I’ve heard almost my entire life, in about ten years, the US will be the best, but it’s hard to believe when the best are still the best. Brazil, Belgium, France, hell even England aren’t going anywhere.

Pulisic can be great, for sure. I agree he’s in a great system for his skills.

As for the USNT, Pulisic, Adams, McKennie, Sargent, and Reyna are showing young attackers can have success overseas. Trying to figure out where they fit together is probably the more difficult part.

Except for the pesky Berhalter problem.....

Sure we have some talent gaps, and in no way could we be Croatia, but we could make a decent run, and if a couple of bounces went our way you never know.

Too bad we'll probably have the worst Head Coach of the Top 30 or so teams.

The number of trophies is irrelevant.

No telling. Key player on CL team in top league would be nice.

Nah, if things went well, we would be more of a 2002 USMNT dark horse, not a pre-tournament, legitimate threat for the World Cup dark horse

Nah, even with all of the weirdness, it’s probably still Landon. He has the potential to be, though.

Sure, but Modric won a ballon d’or in 2018. Regardless of club trophies, they are ballers on the best clubs. We have no one who sniffs that world class level of play.

He could be near his ceiling in the next 4-5 years, which to me caps off (if things continue to go well) somewhere around Raheem Sterling for a similar play-style and body type.

He can improve his passing and crosses and he doesn't supply much on the defensive side. Those are small issues considering he's purely an attacking player.

His dribble and pure finishing is the best combo in USMNT history, IMO.

Sky is the limit. You can make a solid case he’s better than Hazard was as a 21 year old. Doesn’t mean he’ll be better (Origi was starting in the world cup knockouts as a 19 year old) but it does mean that he can become a top 10 player in the world. I can’t name 10 better that are 21 and under.
