I live in Arkansas, so I guess that automatically throws Houston and Dallas into the mix. Other than that, I have zero connection to anything MLS other than the sprinkling of players that were on the national team roster. I root for Everton and Liverpool in the premier league but would like to start following an MLS club, but there's not really a team that jumps out as super interesting to me. In terms of kits and logo, D.C. United probably caught me the most. I don't want to bandwagon, but I do want to cheer for a team with a strong and loyal fanbase. A style of play that's fun to watch would also be nice.

to be fair, D.C. United's dynasty ended years ago so they're already like the Notre Dame of MLS's very very young history.

Liverpool was my first love, but I can't root against Howard. It's complicated. I have a lot of feelings.

not a big fan of houston. watched numerous matches and they bored me to tears. dallas has been fun to watch lately. i think you would like how new england plays. lots of young, exciting players.

personally, im a big fan of NYRB. i like their coach, they got some good players, and guys like tim cahill and dax mccarty are easy to root for.

I saw that, it still doesn't make sense how a Liverpool fan can root for Everton.

In Drewbie's case, this would be like him cheering for LSU in addition to Arkansas.

But the obvious answer for your MLS team is the Seattle Sounders.

I totally understand. When I tried to start watching MLS I really enjoyed watching both Portland and Seatle...
