Two dudes who were supposed to make a big jump this cycle only to regress before reaching their prime years.
Really hurt this cycle.

Poopie did frick all today. 2 balls floated into the back post and he doesn’t even have the presence of mind to make that run to the opposite post balogun chose down 2 goals. He was talking up space today. They all were actually.

was Haji ever even 80% this entire tournament? it’s hard to get straight info but If have loved to see him on a lot earlier centrally and letting Balo drift on the left after pulisic was subbed. not that it would’ve mattered frick all

Idk but Poch has always seemed to rate Pepi more than Haji, which never made sense to me

I could see it 4 years ago. not anymore. Pepi has been unplayable for 18 months. in our shirt at least. just disappointed he didn’t get at least half an hour today. another borderline wasted roster spot

It appears all the time was spent developing our starting 11 who promptly returned to their old form as soon as they played a good team

I will can not support a team that has Pepi, Weah or Freese in it… I just can’t. Their play was abysmal in every match.
Pulisic has also lost a lot of respect, he embarrassed himself after the first 45 against Paraguay.

He was unplayable at this point 4 years ago too. Heading into Qatar I think he hadn’t scored for club or country in 8 months
