American football fans always talk about guys that could make the switch to soccer. Neuer looks like a guy that could make the switch to football. 6'4" 200lb strong safety coming to knock your head off.

It is easy to play the heavy against a usually smaller guy that can't do the same to you. I would assume that if he had tried to run through Neuer it would be a penalty, but I could be wrong.

Hated that play. GKs shouldn't be able to go with knee high like that. How does it make sense to let the only guy that can use his hands also use his knees as weapons?

I think refs give keepers too much leeway, but I would not have called a penalty there. Just 2 guys going after a 50/50 ball. I would have called a penalty if he hit the player before the ball.
