Clearly Danny just wanted to get back to Cobham. In all seriousness, England might as well just start kicking the ball into their own net in the 120th minute just to spare themselves the heartbreak.

I was watching the match with Mrs. Baloo and several members of her family. When it went to penalties, I said Britain had no chance. They asked why and I said, "because I've seen a soccer game before."

England losing on penalties is as predictable as a US sprinter failing a drug test.

That's not the only thing that makes a PK good. Rambo's was high and powerful. Dawson sold the other way very well. Cleverly's was quickly taken (highly underrated aspect to penalty-taking) and well placed.

Not the only thing no.. but a perfectly placed penalty kick is unstoppable.
