This notoriously shitty app has been flawless for me so far. Good to see they put some effort into legitimizing the app. I like that you can rewind live which I don’t think you can on Watch ESPN. Means I can see a goal I missed while working. Of course I probably just jinxed it and it will turn to total shite.

I’ve had a few issues with a pixelated picture but it usually clears up when I restart the app

Am I missing something? They haven't played hardly any games.

And it's been total shite on Chromecast at home.

Maybe its just me but wish this was ESPN.

Luckily Reddit streams are money.

They’ve played every game, with multiple broadcasts of each game

I’ve never had problems with the app on Apple TV.

I've watched 7 of them through the app and have had no complaints.

Even on the phone app? It never shows the matches for me? Maybe just need to login?

I've exclusively used the phone app.

I usually use my Playstation Vue app when at work watching games because it works better than whatever station's streaming service. Surprisingly, FSGo has been much clearer for the WC. I have definitely been pleasantly surprised.

The computer streams have been great. Better than anything ESPN has done, which is shocking.

The only thing more surprising has been how well the officials have used VAR and goal line technology.

It really is amazing how much technology has progressed to enhance the viewing experience in just the last 8 years or so. High-quality HD video and sound systems have become much more affordable to the average American.

I remember struggling to watch the 2010 WC on my family's crappy old 42-inch TV that supposedly had 520 pixels, but seemed like a lot less. It was hard to even see the ball or contrasting jersey colors sometimes. Won't be long before 4K TVs become widely affordable as the tech evolves. That's a big part of why the movie theater industry is so scared.

The TV economic index is a very interesting comment.

Similar to the burrito index if you're familiar.

Think about them even compared to computers. Basically nothing in the entire market has become so affordable with the overall improvements as TVs. It's really amazing.

I just bought a Vizio 55" for $550 and the picture is incredible, even with sports.

No reason for me to really even buy a Samsung or something nicer since I don't have cable.

That being said, I'm still an idiot and can't find these fricking games on the app, maybe my borrowed direct tv login is to blame.

Do you need a cable subscription through cable to get the app? I already pay for Match Pass.

yup.

fox is doing a bare bones job, but at least im able to watch the games when i want to. it was looking bleak on thurs, but they pulled it together.

its almost making me nervous about them losing the UCL. just when they start to get streaming right. i have no idea what Turner is gonna do.

I want to know that too. I download the app, but we have directv now and it looked like no streaming services were going to be able to watch.

I just need to know if I need to get my parents cable account and password.

Yes in order to watch the matches on there you need to enter your cable login info.
