I like Blackburn. Try to bring them back to their former glory.

ETA: I always scout 9 months at a time. I don't know if there are benefits/detriments to scouting for shorter and longer.

The detriment to shorter scouting is that your scout has fewer times to narrow results. Especially if you're at a bigger club (or just put a ton of stock in youth scouting) and have 3 of them out looking, it's important not to inundate your youth squad with guys whose potential is actually not as high as you think. At least, that's my logic.

Thanks. I think I will go with Blackburn. I was leaning toward them because they have won the Premier League and like you said, could return them to glory.

Ultimate team makes absolutely zero sense to me. I just stick with career mode.

Didn't to me at first either but I enjoy it a lot more. I'd rather play another person than the AI. I didn't start ultimate team until I had the game for 2 or 3 months

I agree. I never tried to scout for anything less than 9 months.

In career mode, When do the teams which are interested in you (if they are) actually put forth an offer for you to go out on loan ?

Just got this game so trying to figure it out

Never realized that you could play online with a local guest in seasons, though I knew that you could in FUT. Pretty fricking stupid that they don't push those people into CO-OP seasons.

In other news, the big MLS transfers are now live in FUT if anyone is into that.

Any way to get updated squads without buying 2016?

Yep. I've always been a managerial genius in EA game. I typically spend more time building my team than playing the game. My team took a few months to build, and I still lose a lot..but my skill level is division 2/division 3

Oddly enough my best season ever was in division 2. I've made it to division 1 once, actually did pretty well but ended up getting relegated. My form took a turn for the worse. Once relegated from division 1 I didn't win another game until division 5

I'm currently in division 2, and have been for 3 seasons now.

Think that there are a lot of people who prefer building teams to playing. I certainly do sometimes.

Settled upon these two main teams, I think:

Plus an MLS team for shits and giggles

I'm in D3. From what I've gathered from futscoping opponents during tournaments and shite, there isn't a huge difference between D1, D2, and D3 opponents unless someone just absolutely steamrolls D1.

I had 1.5 mil saved after selling Luiz during TOTY, blew it all on TOTS packs and got absolute shite. Got a solid couple squads anyway, which ill try to sell off for MLS TOTS. Im about tired of FUT this year anyway, maxed out in DIV 4. Just not as fun with a static market and no app to trade on.

The packs have been shite lately. I've stopped getting packs because I basically can't get anything worth a shite in a pack.

If they want coin selling to go away they should let you get some decent players through packs. That would do more for the integrity of the game than shutting down/ruining the market system halfway through.

Gatt always seems to just do things that work. I don't know what about either his stats or the "personality" EA claims each character has, but his works. He's a great pickup for a free transfer in the first January for pretty much any team not at the top of Europe. I even brought him into Arsenal once on a whim for cup matches. Somehow, he always seemed to be the one to pull me out of the fire if I had used too many "reserve" guys and underestimated the opposition

I'm about to start another career mode with Leverkusen and he's probably going to be a pick up. I think his success is tied to his versatility (the first time I had him breakout was on '11 at ST/MF and on '15 the two times I've been USA manager I've successfully played him everywhere up and down both wings) so he always is getting minutes and that he always develops to be fast as hell regardless of his overall rating. Plus I like to make lengthy runs from deep by pace whoring/using skill moves so he fits that mold very well.

Are there no third party updates or anything for rosters? I know PES community members do that to correct roster names and such since they don't have licenses.

you can do it all manually in club transfers, but that might only work for manager mode, not sure about kickoff matches, and def not for online seasons.
