Yeah and defenders can run you down like crazy. Also a lot harder to control when sprinting on a counter, especially when flicking the thumbstick.
Overall, like everyone else, I think it plays a lot smoother and more realistically. I do think they might have gone overboard on reducing the ability to trap. Seems like every time you have a player on the receiving end of a pass with just a little pace on it, ball automatically pops up. This occurs even when you are passing to Arteta or something.
ETA: Computer play made a slight improvement, but it still blows.

the computer is still magical at 60 yard bombs to the wings to hit open men in stride.
if there's one thing that FIFA needs to fix now, it's long pass accuracy. it seems like for humans the accuracy has taken a nosedive, which should make online play better

Whatever they did to giroud, it's awful because he loses the ball instantly, is slow and can't dribble or turn worth a shite.

I am loving it, but there are just a couple things I will need to tweak. I hit tevez in stride and he had a yard or two on mertesacker and mertesacker ran me down. I think we can put that one on the unrealistic side.
Computer is freaking beastmode on WC. They hit the inside of the post with nearly every shot. Not to mention they can work the ball into and around my six. Boateng hit a one timer from 30 yards that went in. Then they lobbed in a through ball to my six, pato flying scissor kick cross to a perfectly positioned robinho. I have beaten the computer a few times, tied a few, and lost a lot, but it is still fun as shite. Loving it.

Giroud has been horrible so far this season, there are no two ways around it. He is terrible at retaining possession, he is slow as Christmas and can't dribble worth a shite.

It does miracles having someone up top that has a decent touch with pace possession-wise. Giroud literally doesn't handle a single first touch well, always looses possession

Aha... This is why the ratings are a bit odd.

The build they had was so old that when it first came out RVP was on our team and still there is no Cazorla. The ratings you are talking about are the matchday ones which are influenced by how they played last game hence why Diaby is 80 and Podolski 86, if you turn matchday off they have FIFA12 ratings. They don't even have the full squad, the only real 'youth' player is Yennaris when last year they had far more. Expect different ratings in the final game and more youth players.
