Downloaded the demo this morning. Thoughts:

Passing has been drastically improved.

Dribbling is much better.

The computer's runs are much more intelligent/frequent.

New formations are awesome.

The skill games are mother fricking AWESOME! I am literally starting matches, quitting and then starting again just to play the skill games.

The overall feel of the game doesn't seem to be too much different. It's a bit smoother, the physics are more realistic, but it's still the same game. I've read about the commentary but haven't really listened yet. Some of the options on the match screen are pretty cool.

I'm selling a bunch of old games for Amazon credit just so I can get this game. FIFA is one of those franchises that I always break down and get every single year.

The new formations are awesome. The computer does seem willing to make forward runs more often. Example is while playing with Arsenal Arteta made a run past Giroud who was my striker. Their is more emphasis on first touch. But it feels a lot like last years game and looks exactly the same. Keep in mind the demo is always at least somewhat different from what the final product. I didn't mess around with the arena yet. I never doubt FIFA's offline play. Best sports game there is in my opinion. We will just have to see if they improved their online play.

i have gotten the game regularly since 2009, but it's never on release day, like ncaa/madden....

but if they keep putting out shitty versions of those games, then those won't be release day buys either... all EA seems to do is update a couple of things and the rosters and throw it on the consumer as if we won't notice is basically the EXACT SAME game.... but for $60 a pop, that shite ain't cool.... i want the thing to be as real to life a possible and both games and even FIFA to an extent is far from it....

but out of all of them, I continue playing FIFA more than all of the other ones.... after about 3 to 4 years on dynasty mode in each football game, i'm about done, but FIFA, i can go for a while, trying to buy the best talent and make my created player the Pele of his generation....

I thought it was 25th.

Mini games are the TITS!!!!!!!

ETA:I have seen better physics so far. Defenders seem better with AI and physical play. As Beast said, the skill games are amazingly fun and will probably help people improve at the game. The finesse shot seems to be taken completely out of the game.

ETA2:We also noticed in the match menu if you cycle with RB, you get top scorers and things and one of the windows shows players out on international duty.

What do y'all mean by new formations? I only had time to quickly play a couple of games be leaving this morning. I didn't have a chance to give it an in depth look yet.
