what sad frick is down voting every post in this thread 
A few more observations, im figuring out how to gut the computer on the counter now just need to be better in the final third
even in matches is lose 3-1 i create way more chances
this game will make you learn to get rid of any bad fifa habits you have from years past.
Esp passing the ball or playing out of the back. The computer pounces on all that shite, and dont even think about playing the ball across the middle in your own third

But yea Ive noticed when I try to pass out the back everyone gets up field except for my two center backs so theres no one else to pass it to. Even a holding midfielder and wing backs go up the field if they are on stay back while attacking as soon as you pass the ball back to the goalee

This game really punishes you if you don't play exactly how you have your tactics set up
try and play possession when you set up to quick counter attack and um yeaaa good luck.

Have y'all had success with player swaps? Ever since they revamped the transfer process player swaps seem to really be tough to do. Like, they'll agree to swapping a player of similar value but then still ask for $40+m

half way through the season I'm in 10th but only 8 points behind first place
Some games it is impossible to win when you GK is so shite. He literally got scored on from a chip damn near the end line at an impossible angle. He also routinely gives up goals on his near post from 12+ yards out
My goalie is only a 60 rating and is six feet tall he can’t even reach the ball, comes out to play the ball when he’s not supposed to and just can’t reach half the shots his way. Good thing my youth team GK I will play as soon as he is 16 is rated higher already and is 6’4.

I pretty much gave up on even trying them last year unless I had the cash ready to make a deal if I got the run around from the team I was negotiating with. Probably for the best they revamped that since it used to be super easy to dump a bad contract or pick up a promising young player for a guy way over the hill.

I've never had a straight swap happen. I always end up paying extra cash. But I have saved before. Like I did Thorgan Hazard + Cash for Pulisic. Think I only ended up having to pay 15-20 mil out of my budget.

What game modes are people playing? I'm on online season right now and working my way to Division 1, hopefully. I've tried playing offline seasons in the past and I could never get into it because it always seemed like I was playing the computer, for whatever reason. The AI was just so fake that I could never get into it and have fun. Have they fixed it?

The problem with the player swap now is that the team you’re negotiating with almost always asks for a different player than the one you offer

It's the most fun game mode on FIFA if you have a few friends to play with. It's sort of a cesspool so you really need to have low expectations, but it's just a really fun time.

Three games in my second season in the 3 Liga
got six points but my lord i am dominating everyone now with a decent midfield.
