With 13 million pounds, you can sign about 15 players on pre-contract 
ETA: The one thing I do like is you actually get a substantial budget jumping up to the Premier League on this game like you saw Wolves/Fulham/etc spend. I had about 50 mil before my second season.

Ive come to the conclusion if the computer decides to high press you
you have no chance for any build up play, bc you will turn the ball over in your own third and they will score. Pretty much have to play long ball to beat the press.
Has anyone else noticed if you try and through ball it is was less accurate this year and the computer jumps in that passing lane like crazy. But a regular pass not so much.
I used to through ball like crazy in previous years but this Fifa not so much.
like I said before if you have bad habits you will pay. I loved playing blind passes and through balls. This year is similar to 17, you literally have to be facing the player you want to pass it to and if you try a blind pass it goes no where near where you are aiming it or you player doesn't anticipate it.

Yes, passing is more realistic, you can’t just use pace and through passing like last year. I also like the fact that physicality is important too now. I have moved back up to legendary with no slider adjustments on current career save (West Brom). I’m going to start a United career on ultimate and see if can last the season without getting fired.

Yeah I’m loving that they changed the through ball cheese stuff. You could always resort to that on last years game and I’m glad they fixed it.
Agree on the press piece as well — when they start pressing you’ve gotta cross it to the other side of the field to a wing back or wide midfielder to get any space. Once you make that pass you can kick it inside and go long from there. Backpasses will kill you against the press this year.

This broken career mode just made me play 5 matches in 8 days including matches on consecutive days twice.

Surprise surprise - it’s a glitch. I read you have to negotiate/accept the loan deal, then remove them from the loan list and place them on the transfer list. Seems to work about 99% of the time when I try it.
My problem is that I cannot sell players. I will get 10+ offers for a player and always get “transfer talks have broken down”. I would say my sell rate is about 15% per acceptance. Really damn frustrating when trying to run a youth academy farm.

Nah not really. Just new ultimate team cards and stuff. They don't care about anything else. I played United in the Leagueh on Saturday and then Chelsea in a cup final on Sunday.

I may be over this game. I finally got the US job offer and the next season was 2022 WC year. Game even asked me to submit final WC roster and yet here I am in June and fricking Canada is in the WC and I'm not. Just wow.
ETA- I found a thread on Reddit about this. It randomly chooses between the 3 concacaf teams on May 1 so I just went back to the auto saves and simmed until US was in.

Last 3 games on FUT. 36 shots on target. 39 saves against. 0 goals. This coming off a 7 game win streak. Just got the game last week. Glad to see it’s still scripted

What formation do yall think is best for FUT this year? I’ve been doing the 4-2-3-1 and have dominated possession and created a lot of chances but haven’t finished because I’ve barely played this year. Seems like that and the 4-3-3 formations are the best.

I run 4-1-2-1-2 and just counter everyone's high pressure for easy looks. Helps to have Messi and Van Basten though
