This was an U16 match I believe, my nephew is, or was, 14, at the time.

In most cases, Hispanic youths of the same age are shorter than Americans. So when a Hispanic team rolls out and is taller across the board, it's pretty easy to see what's going on.

What I was getting at, is that they looked old, like men. Many of my nephew´s side were already bigger physically, but boyish.

Maybe. We don't make a big deal about it. Just openly joke about it. We usually beat them anyway.

I played rec soccer against a kid named Miguel who kind of sounds like the guys y'all describe. He was built like an athlete and was Mexican so naturally his technique was really good. His parents didn't speak a word of English. Was a decently nice guy, and always smoked the competition, but I'm not sure why he never played club. Probably has something to do with being older than he claimed to be.
