Euro 2016 Observation

I can't think of another soccer event I have looked forward to more than this one. Especially excited that England, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland are all in the same competition. I imagine the atmosphere is going to be unreal, especially for the England vs. Wales fixture.

The fixtures are cool, but you look forward to this more than the World Cup? I love the WC because it gives me an excuse to be extra Murican.

Really hope that the French are able to keep things safe - cannot stand these monsters who are scheming to ruin things...

I love the World Cup, but I'm also an Anglophile. When every constitutent nation of the UK, save Scotland, qualifies for Euro 2016, it makes this tournament that much more intriguing. Add to the fact the tournament is being hosted right across the English Channel in France and it's even better.

Euro usually has higher quality soccer than the World Cup from top to bottom, so I can see where you're coming from.

Nuthin beats a good Gold Cup, eh?

Love me some Euro.
I think it was a great idea to add the extra teams - it won't really water down the tournament since there are usually still several good teams who missed out. And it gives a team like Wales a spot in a big tournament (though they'll likely qualify for the WC too).

Three studies have been done, by an Austrian university, Goldman Sachs and an Italian bank.
All conclude that the winner should be France, could be Germany, and either will beat Spain in the final.
Hmmmmh.
I think Portugal´s a serious darkhorse candidate.

This sounds like the start of a riddle.

The Italian bank is Unicredit. Sounds less intriguing now, doesn´t it?

I look forward to the Gold Cup more than Euros just because the US is involved.
And because the games are at a reasonable time here.

24 team tournaments kill the group stage.

I've heard this argument before, and I guess I understand it, but there is something about the WC that is so much more exciting to me. I like the diversity of it all. Europe is a pretty diverse place, but including teams from SA, NA, Asia, and Africa just makes it out of this world.

WC trumps all for me. Personally, I like the frenetic pace, flair, and tenacity of Copa America over the euros. South American soccer just gets my dick hard. It's HUNH and fast break on a soccer pitch

It's just with Euros, you normally avoid the teams that bunker for dear life from North America and Asia.
