would be true if most of our players were born and raised in south Louisiana but even Americans not raised here have a extra hard time handling our weather.

Most of them spent time training and living in Bradenton. They'll be OK. Just about everywhere in the US, except the West coast gets more humid than Portugal.

this is why i've changed my mine on USA, i think this plays to their advantage.
rain, rain, stay away, keep it humid and watch the Germans and Portuguese melt.

Louisiana isn't the only place in America that gets hot and humid. Maybe you should get out more

This. The weather is to our advantage, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it will make.

They'll have fun with the weather in the US in 2022 as well

I didn't realize it was so hot & humid all over Brasil in the winter
Posted on 6/14/14 at 11:07 pm to arkyhawk
70% humidity. Sounds like a cool, crisp fall morning to me.

Nope, I was just saying that when we do win it will be because of our skill and teamwork, not the weather.

"Conditions here in Manaus are going to be difficult because it's going to be hot and humid," Hodgson said. "And all European teams are going to suffer."

Just read that Italy completed over 93% of their passes, the highest in a WC match since 1966.
De Rossi, Pirlo etc are fantastic but that also speaks a lot to how the weather affected the match.
I hope it helps the US but it also may mean longer stretches than usual without pressuring high.

Probably had a lot to do with Candreva (my crush from the Euros) being wide the frick open all game long since Roy Hodgson didn't think ole Leighton needed any help defending that left side.
And Andrea Pirlo is porn.

Candreva will probably leave Lazio this summer. He's pretty underrated since he doesn't gte much exposure playing for them.
Not sure where he'll end up --though a good guess would be with the Serie A all stars at PSG.
