Per is balling out for arsenal, but he and kos mesh so perfectly neither will replicate their club form for the national team.
The massively deep line we play is a direct result of Michu burning us a bunch last year. I mean, if any team can replicate how we play its Germany, but will Low see it that way? You lose high pressing and instead gain stability, but the need to break at speed becomes paramount. Ozil, Gundogan, Gotze and others all can do it, but who is your striker in that scenario, the aging Klose or the one dimensional Gomez?

Which is why them being ranked in the 8-10 area is right...on Willie hill they are joint 10th with France, which is about right.(personally id be more likely to back England than france)
Yeah, I think France is stronger individually at every single position on the pitch but I'd probably still bet on England to advance farther if I had to choose since they've recently been the better team.
England gets a lot of criticism but I think they've done well the last WC and EUROs. They've mostly beaten who they should and even teams that are probably a bit more talented and bowed out while giving pretty tough matches to simply stronger teams in Germany and Italy.

England and its' fans have been convinced they are a world "power" since time began....they invented and own the game....yet, they have but ONE claim to fame i.e. 1966, and little else to show for all their "dominance"..lol

Odd mean nothing IMO until the draw, there are going to be 2 groups of death in this W.C. maybe we can get a decent draw and avoid Ghana in the round of 16

So a Colombia team with little big tournament experience, filled with player with little big tournament experience, is more likely to win the World Cup than Argentina
Yes...because Argentina doesn't have a great TEAM. They have a wealth of attacking options and very little in every other position.
Try to be a little less condescending when you disagree with people.
You don't need to "remind" me who plays for any team headed for the world cup.
Maybe I need to remind you that, at least on paper, Columbia has one of the most balanced TEAMS in the tournament. They have good players in all areas, with a few question marks like right back and goal keeper (which, I admit, is very important at a WC and a big worry).
I never actually said I thoughtColumbia would win anyway, only that I would put money on them before a lot of other teams, simply because I think they do have a shot and because they would pay a hell of a lot more money than say..I dunno Brazil.

Hate that Im rising to this but
Seriously who has ever called England dominant, and who is talking as if they will win?
I'm pretty sure more Americans think the US can win it than English do England
Everybody I know says aslong as we qualify anything else is a bonus
