Philadelphia and Boston have been identified as potential host cities for what would prove to be a historic fixture. Celtic played Real Madrid in a friendly at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field in August 2012.
The proposed game would likely take place next season as Dundee are due to welcome Ronny Deila’s team at Dens Park on December 30 and have no further scheduled home matches against the Scottish champions this campaign.
Last month, Celtic revealed they were exploring the feasibility of starting a franchise in the North American Soccer League.
Texas-based Tim Keyes and business partner John Nelms took over ownership of Dundee after investing in the Tayside club in 2013.

Would be a nice step up for Celtic.

Would much rather have a real football club like the Rangers play here

You know this is set to be a blunder when you search Google for "Dundee Celtic Rivalry" and your first five hits are about the Old Firm.
If they want to raise interest in the SPL, they'd do Old Firm. Americans expect nothing more than a league's most notable.

If they did an Old Firm match in Rangers, it'd be incredible.

The 'Old Firm' no longer exists as one of the clubs died.

At least he's consistent. Even if that means consistently delusional.
