The bench was already celebrating because they found out they were staying up. The players on the field had to have known.

I hate to be the one to bring this up, and I'm sure City doesn't care, but I bet ManU fans will be pissed.

I'm still sad Bolton went down, though

Weird scene: Djibril Cisse finds Samir Nasri and celebrates wildly with him. French national team buddies and both got results they needed.

I saw that. They were hugging and almost kissing.

QPRs keep should have had that ball. It wasn't a special ball by Aguero.

Some of the QPR defenders were slamming their fists on the ground after the goal... other QPR players were like, "meh."

Most of the players were on the ground after the goal. It didn't look like they gave up to me.

FIFY. The defenders had given their heart and soul.

Definitely don't think they had given up but it was an odd scene. It would be understandable if they were a bit distracted/switched off for a minute.

Yea given up maybe the wrong wording. But if we've learned anything this season it's that relegation threatened teams start playing like top 4 sides the last 4-5 weeks of the season. It wouldn't surprise if finding out the Bolton score throttled back their intensity at least a tiny bit

I think so. Certainly not all of them but their motivations certainly changed when they saw their bench celebrating.

No cisse spiracy but fricking smiling and jumping up and down with the other team, while your team just got sent down is strange.
