Did Cox remove NBC Sports?

I have the Advanced TV package with the Sports and Info Pack added on. I'm not home so I went to set the Everton game to record from my phone, and suddenly NBC Sports is no longer shown in my guide.

No, they did not. Cox only removed the mainline NBC network station.
I was in the same boat. I have the SI package and I worried yesterday I'd miss the Arsenal game if it was on NBC. But it was on NBCSN (Cox 1105) and I got it fine. I also had all the Live Extra channels.
*Just turned on NBCSN to be sure and am watching the last few minutes of Palace-Chelsea. So yes, you're fine with all your NBC extras.

Why did they remove the main NBC network?
And I wonder if they're planning to remove NBC Sports also since it doesn't show up on my guide in the Contour app.

Such BS. Cox's customers pay a price for cable with the expectation of receiving certain channels. If they remove channels, then lower my price. I know this happens all the time with cable companies, but cable companies are the devil and it pisses me off.

Pretty ridiculous that the dispute is over a channel that everybody can get for free over the air with an antenna.

Not EVERYBODY can get reception via a simple antenna....if you are more than 30 miles from the stations transmitter you will have reception problems...BOOK IT !
