First it was location, suburbs or in the city, then funding then city approving it. Now its go time.

The likes of Houston and FC Dallas kinda quickly half-assed their stadiums. DC investing a ton in this one though. Should turn out great for them.

Dude im from DC I know exactly how the bullshite works there.
This has been in the works for over 10 years. If they still want it in SE DC it will happen throwing it near the Nats stadium. Too much has been invested in that area to let it fail.

Could turn out to be a great national team stadium since it won't be huge it will be easy to keep the latin american fans in the area out.

How would they keep them out? There are way way more Latinos in the area that American soccer fans, you know that.

B/c we would play them at RFK were they could get 10k tickets easy. In a stadium of like 20k wont be as easy. Its not as bad as it used to be in the 90's and early 2000's though.

this will def be the shot in the arm the fanbase needs. La Barra Brava, El Norte and the Screaming Eagles would be there no matter what but this will give the casual fan a reason to go.
