It was the US's fault...duh.

Between this and their bitchiness during the Snow-clasico, Costa Rica getting almost as annoying as Mexico.

Pinto followed news that Campbell is set to be investigated with this response: "It worries me and makes me angry, because of the illegal gesture from the US of placing cameras behind the coaching staff. They can't refute that, but we shouldn't have allowed that. It's a camera that confuses the rule.
"It is an agressive and resented act from the US," Pinto continued. "I don't think Mexico is interested in anything like that, with all the problems they have on top"

Yup, I hope Honduras opens up a can on them.

This, my friends, THIS is why I cannot stand Central American soccer players. Flopping in that manner is inexcusable and a mockery of the game. But to try to defend by talking about how we positioned our cameras? fricking admit your player is a pussy and move on.

I didn't see this game.
What the frick? frick Costa Rica's bitch arse then.

If FIFA does anything it might restore some faith that they can do the right thing. Suspending him for the other 2 qualifiers would be pointless since they are already through. They need to suspend him for the World Cup.

Also fifa are investigating Costa rica drowning out our anthem or something

Be careful what you wish for if they suspend every team's floppers for the Cup it's gonna be like USA, Germany, and England in Brazil.

And we would be without Dempsey

A Costa Rican official said FIFA could potentially force Los Ticos to play their next home qualifier, against Mexico, in an empty stadium.

Gee how come they never do this favor for us when we play in stadiums where fans throw crap at our players?

FIFA should hope we become better at soccer considering how big our economy is and the 94 World Cup broke the ticket sales records. Just think how many fans would show up to a Cup here today.
Posted on 9/13/13 at 5:55 pm to itawambadog
A WC here would have high ticket prices and fill 80K stadiums for every match. It would destroy any other WC.

Yep, it's just too hard for us to generate any amount of bribery funds so...
