Corinthian fans break into World Cup stadium - assault own players and staff

Approximately 100 Corinthians fans took wirecutters to a perimeter mesh around a coaching area in São Paulo, entered the facility and began yelling at club members for their recent poor form.
Things then escalated and according to local media, strikers Alexandre Pato, Emerson Sheik and coach Mano Menezes were all “manhandled” while striker Paolo Guerrero was “grabbed and throttled
Perhaps most disturbing is the fact that the mob of supporters refused to leave (and were not physically removed) from the ground for two hours
The display brings additional question marks to the issue of security in Brazil 2014 after a number of violent incidents and anti-World Cup demonstrations. The subject stadium is set to be used by the Iranian National Team in June.

Thread title (article title) is stupid. They broke into their club's stadium, the fact that it's also being used for the World Cup is coincidental.

I think the point is 2 hours later the police arrived.

...at a World Cup venue.
What's going to happen when the Argentines play badly?

I agree. What Ultras from a club do or get away with doesn't have much to with how the WC will be policed.
This kind of thing really isn't all that out of the ordinary for Ultras all over Europe.
