Neither Mexico nor Jamaica won a game. Jamaica didn't even score a goal.

Shameful. Why were they invited again?

These aren't even the A squads. They are putting the priority on the Gold Cup.

It seems like Mexico never plays the A squad. At least that's what Mexicans always say when we beat them.

It wasn't Ecuador's A Squad who beat Mexico.

Why is that funny? They have to win this Gold Cup for a chance to go to the Confederations Cup.

I don't get it either. Mexico has a significantly better chance to qualify for Confederations Cup via Gold Cup, which is their own confed tournament anyway, than they do via Copa America. I hate Mexico with a passion, but they are doing the right thing focusing on the Gold Cup.

Yeah, Jamaica's B team and Mexico's B team isnt exactly representative of CONCACAF.

Frankly, I'm glad Mexico lost so badly. They'll come down in the rankings, their fans and their players will be low on confidence. The better for us to kick their arses.

to round out the competition and prove South American dominance in the process.

Like if the SEC had an odd number of teams so every year we'd let some hapless Big 12 or ACC team come and beat the living crap out of them.

Evidentially you think Jamaica losing 1-0 to Argentina is a bad thing. I took it that they played well when everyone was expecting 5-0.

They lost all their games 1-0. Not terrible results on the surface, but Argentina had 73% possession and Jamaica only had 1 shot on goal. Higuain scored in the 11th minute and Argentina knew that would be enough.

I thought Jamaica represented themselves well, considering who they are playing.

Mexico did alright, they just ran into an Ecuador team who finally got their shite together.

Had Jamaica been blown out every match, i could see the ridicule, but they didn't.

It's definitely Jamaica's A team, at least according to the broadcast yesterday.

It's closer to Mexico's C team than it is their B team, with the exception of Torres and maybe one or two others.

Mex did draw with Chile who is the favorite. Pretty good for a C team?
