Curacao scored their goal at Panama in the 87th minute, that could be huge.

Also, Canada looks like shite.

Also, the pitch at St. Kitts & Nevis today was hilarious, and it would've been even more hilarious if they kept it competitive against El Salvador, because our first match in the next round is on the road against whoever advances.

Just imagine Pulisic going from Stamford Bridge to that.

ETA: also, former great American hope Josh Perez scored for El Salvador in that match.

it's how some teams try to even a match up

Notre Dame would let the grass grow long and thick before playing fast teams like USC.

Some teams cut it short, some have dirt fields, and that shite takes its toll on teams who are used to playing on manicured fields. rocks, dirt balls, hard as rock dirt surface.

Well yeah, this is common knowledge, but I think in this case, that's all St. Kitts and Nevis have.

They were literally playing in what looked like a neighborhood park.

With a population of just over 50,000, their stadium is about what’s expected

It didn't help that the field was completely flooded within 2 hours of kickoff.

Actually. I was thinking of the Panama/Curacao match. Nevermind.

Looked pretty dry, so at least it has good drainage.

Curacao and Panama tied at the half.

Panama leads 2-1 on aggregate, but Curacao has the away goal.

This is actually a pretty entertaining match for CONCACAF because Curacao is throwing everything forward because they need a goal, while every Panama player is falling down to waste time.

This was the flooded field that I mentioned a few days ago. This was about 2 hours before kickoff.

Curacao have missed two point blank chances in the last 30 minutes.

Make that 3 as they just hit the crossbar from right outside the 6 somehow.

They are so shite in front of goal.

8 minutes plus stoppage to go.
