USMNT and others on standby.

36 hours of rain with flooding and landslides.

Did the stadium flood?

And I thought everyone said this was in the middle of the Amazon? Natal is on the Atlantic coast.

Manaus is the host site on the Amazon. That's where Italy and England played today and the US plays Portugal next week.

Gotcha. Yea THAT is in the middle of the Amazon. I knew the US was playing there at some point and and assumed the flooding would be there. Not in some coastal town.

Video From Twitter. This scene is "close to the team hotels".

ETA: Turn down the volume.

I assume they just play the game in a different stadium if natal is a no go.

Yeah but the other stadiums most likely have other matches scheduled for that day.

They would have to rework a lot not only schedule wise but transportation, lodging, media set ups.

And the fans who have tickets to watch matches in Natal would obviously have accommodations in Natal.

It's going to be a mess if they have to move the scheduled matches from Natal.

I don't know you, but I will take your word for it!!! Sarcasm is easily missed on this board.

In any case, today's action has been insane!!!!
