For one, the whole recruitment team is on the same page now... instead of buying players the manager doesn't want, etc.. low balling clubs for players and missing out..

And yes, they target very specific players, to fit very specific needs... That means, waiting or paying what it takes to get a specific guy... So far, with VVD and Alisson, its worked out..

We've also bought out of the relegation bin the past 3 summers... Wijnaldum, Robertson and Shaqiri.. and all have had a very good impact in the squad..

But we've also been fortunate with a lot of buy low, sell high type of players over the last few years..

That all may seem like business as usual for most, but we haven't had that until the Klopp/Edwards team was in place..
