Chelsea fire Roberto Di Mateo

Pretty astonishing. Sacked just 6 months after leading Chelsea to the pinnacle of club soccer. He only lasted 6 more days than AVB. 10 managers in 7 seasons. What if United fired SAF after his poor results in the 80s?
Should be an announcement soon regarding the replacement. Benitez is my guess, he's the best available.

They just won the freaking Champions League and Chelsea is in 3rd Place in the Premier League?
Pep Guardiola, could the rumors must be true?

If Falcao comes during the winter transfer window things could get real interesting.

They better already have someone lined up and if it's Benitez then...

I mean I didn't think that highly of RDM but god damn give him a full season.

They haven't contacted Rafa yet apparently. And he's in Abu Dhabi now. Unless it is Avram Grant, there's no one already lined up. Pep turned them down according to Guillem Balague. Rafa would be a fantastic choice and is desperate enough to get another chance that he would overlook how fricking stupid it is to work for Roman.
A car just drove past me, then stopped. The window rolled slowly down. 'arry stuck his head out and told me he was interested in the job.

I wonder what Roman's internal dialogue is like during the game:
"Look at this guy. He's smiling. It's like he doesn't even know that I'm going to fire him tomorrow."

Wow. Talk about knee jerk reactions

I told Beezy yesterday that I thought his job would be in jeopardy after what he did yesterday. I didn't think he'd get fired this morning, but that wasn't the best of moves. Shocker.....Now I get to follow another coaching search.

I'm a Chelsea fan, but there's no way I'd take that job. I've never seen anything like the way they go through managers.
