Watching my DVR of the EPL Review Show.

Still can't believe Torres missed that shot.

I really feel for the guy. He had a GREAT match otherwise.

I really feel like he's almost back. I think Chelsea's close to being very dangerous. Just gotta make a few tweaks.

And (a few days late here) Anelka wants out. which I'm perfectly OK with.

I kept up with the Carling Cup game against Fulham a little yesterday. We played all subs except for Cech and Sturridge at the start. We ended up winning in PKs, after staying scoreless for the full 120. A lot of opportunities were created in the first half but they couldn't put it in. Alex got a red card in the first few minutes of the 2nd half and we played down the rest of the game. Lampard, Terry, and Turnbull all subbed (Cech got beaten up a bit but he's fine). Lukaku played striker but he looked pretty terrible away from the goal, but once he gets some experience and nerves out of the way he'll be better. He does still look look good in front of the goal, and that's really his job. Sturridge hurt his ankle and had to come out. I'm not sure how serious it is. McEachran looked great, but he's not commanding enough to play central midfield in good competition yet. Fulham played a pretty weak team also, but it was nice to see the young guys get some work in and then hold them off with only 10 men for an entire 75 minutes.

This, I thought it was some of AVB's best coaching yet, we had just as many chances as we didnt in the first half and really looked like the more likely team to score (most of the time) all while down a man. we definitely deserved the win

Yeah, playing a man down for almost an hour. Torres again looked good, and then fricks up and now a 3 match ban

I just re-watched the tackle by Torres over and over and I don't think it warranted a three games suspension. Looked really bad live, but the 3 games suspension is too much.

Agreed, but in the end he didn't even touch the dude's feet.

Oh and also we need to figure out how to defend set pieces.
