Suspended but also “nursing an injury he sustained in training this week.” He wouldn’t be playing regardless of suspension.

Just keep it close and hope for an equalizer

Lol it should be criminal that we are operated so poorly that our squad costs more than city's. I don't think we have a single player that gets in their team

I can’t believe we are ditching Gallagher for Enzo. CG and Caicedo played well together at the end of last year when the team was making strides. Enzo comes in and clogs the whole pitch. Maybe he looks great playing with Messi, but he doesn’t fit with this squad.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Enzo is my least favorite signing for Chelsea since Morata

Was listening to game on radio.

How bad is he? I though he had some good saves keeping them
In game.

Have not watched any highlights yet.

last season CFC played a mashup of styles and rarely did any of it fit together
good breakdown here

ownership wants to play the build from the back style like man city

CG is a balls out pressing player

Enzo is a better fit for the style ownership wants to play

the problem is our defensive play is often terrible in the middle and we dont have a passing GK like Ederson (no one really does) to build from the back

One of the three mids needs to be dropped to let Palmer operate more through the middle and throw madueke on the wing

I'm not saying that CG is the answer, but I think it is clear that Enzo is not the answer. He just doesn't fit.

CG fit better with Ciacedo because they did not operate in the same area. Enzo just feels like a blackhole.

He seems to play the advanced of the three but he's not good around the box. He had multiple donkey touches yesterday where he should have been able to get a good shot off. Those need to be Coles touches

if I didnt know any better then I would say CFC is acquiring young pieces as trade assets for a supermax contract like they do in the NBA

I have no answer for what the strategy can possibly be. Obviously selling Gallagher was very important but taking Felix back seems like an odd compromise

I’m in the minority here but I liked Felix the first time he was here and I like this. But we have too many people in the same positions and I don’t see how to keep everyone happy.

Felix showed flashes of brilliance and he got mired in a funk and didnt play hard consistently

perhaps maresca can sort him out, he is very young with room to mature and improve
