Chelsea have opened talks with Frank Lampard over a shock return on an interim basis. He could be in charge for Wolves on Saturday #cfc
Enrique is back in Spain today after interviewing in London yesterday

If the club hire Enrique, its likely Nagelsmann turned them down. I like Lucho quite a bit. He's done better in his national team post than Flick, who many fans would love to lead Chelsea.
Big pluses to Enrique are that he is style is more direct than one would assume, which would be great for players like Mudryk, Enzo, Reece, and Chilwell. He also doesnt take shite from players and has weeded out dissent from his clubs. We might need someone who can be a prick when required. His personality would get the fanbase back quickly I imagine, maybe not as quickly as Tuchel, but they have similarities.
I dont know much about Nagelsmann. Tactically seems very similar to what Potter wishes he could be, and the Munich sub-reddit seem to hold him in high regard.

Chelsea are in concrete talks with Frank Lampard to become caretaker manager until the end of the season #CFC
Discussions with Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique continue for future project.
Lampard, 100% prepared to accept the job.
Final green light, up to the board.

Looks like Nagelsmann in the summer then.

[Matt Law with an update on his story] Chelsea players are convinced that the next permanent head coach will be either Nagelsmann or Enrique and there are also concerns among the squad over the possibility of Bruno remaining in charge until the end of the season.

Tottenham next manager: Luis Enrique was top of Paratici’s initial shortlist of possible Conte successors a little over three weeks ago, but it remains to be seen if the interest is reciprocated amid contact from Chelsea. Interest in Julian Nagelsmann appears to have cooled.

It’s understood Behdad Egbhali is a huge fan of Nagelsmann, some sources believe the job is Nagelsmann’s to lose. However, Luis Enrique has flown into talks and also impressed in initial discussions.

[Miguel Delaney] Luis Enrique explained his high-intensity and high-pressing approach, that especially fits the young players that Chelsea have brought in. The club hierarchy are interested in his tactics but are not close to a decision yet.

That is EXACTLY what will happen. We’ll win the CL and sack another manager by December.

Fired worst coach ever to bring back second worse coach ever in FF. Clown world.

This season is better than Days of our Lives or As The World Turns soap operas ever could have been. You could not script more drama. Evwn the part where players don’t want the temp manager to stick around.
Lampard, if in fact he’s only temporary - would be a good fill in. Can see what can be salvaged rest of year especially CL without pressure of firing. And he had his good moments before. He could help get some cliff jumper fans back in the fold too, if he can win.
One good thing about the Spaniard is he likely isn’t going to be as biased by overlooking non English players. Thats been a problem.
Will be interesting to see who they end up with. No matter who they choose, segments of fans will be unhappy.

If Chelsea were to win CL, that would erase all the horrible parts of the complete season. Thats a huge deal and brings some major swagger and bragging rights. I’d take CL in a heartbeat!

Mount and Chalobah have been benched, and Sterling has been in and out of the lineup for injury and performance reasons under Potter. Gallagher comes off the bench. Madueke barely sees the field.
Unless you are one of those anti-Mount people, not really sure how you came to this conclusion.

No, it hasn't. Our English players (Mount prior to this year, James, and Chilwell) have been our best players the last couple of seasons.
As the other guy noted, none of the other English players have gotten consistent minutes.

Pass to the outside, cross it in.
Fat Frank’s only strategy.

I'll be thrilled with anybody who has any strategy whatsoever

I guess Lampard is the new Hiddink
