Was this before Sir Charles retired?

If you think we’re bad, you should meet some real hooligans.

Secondly, it’s (obviously) a free country and you can be whatever type of fan you like to be. As long as you are aware that it’s this exact attitude why the rest of the world doesn’t take us seriously.

Thirdly, you can’t be surprised at the reaction to your posts. Your entire view of this club is warped around a weird obsession with one single player. You don’t propose educated opinions due to your bias.

That’s all I will say on the matter. Since you favor the man over the club, maybe your own “All things CP” thread would be your best bet.

I fricked up the name it was Sir Alex Fergason. No idea why I said Charles!

It was before, 2010 game. He retired in 13 or 14 I think. There were 71k at that game it was pretty lit. Manu won but to my son there were no losers that day. We stayed at the hotel right there by the interstate and walked in. Has a room and went to bar after game it was packed too. Son was under age but no one asked and then we took beer to our room. One of the funnest days we had together because it was just us.

New episode of Ted Lasso came out and it was filmed at the Bridge. Richmond drew Chelsea 1-1. Almost like real life.

Why is Rice so coveted? What does he do so well? He’s an average player and Chelsea already has 100 of those. I’ve never been impressed.

I don't think he's the missing piece or anything but I definitely think he would be an upgrade over what we have. Given my Jude Bellingham dream is not going to come true we could do a lot worse than Declan Rice.

Until we get a striker though none of it's going to matter.

Rice for that price isn’t worth it. English premium.

I’ll admit not being a Chelsea fan just because of all the bandwagoners from relatively recent success. But I started following them when CP went. I rhought Timo Werner was overrated before he came but turned into a fan of his with his hustle and attitude.

Tuchel going to Chelsea got me more excited.

But what made me a real fan was how charitable Tsar Charles Abromivich was. As well as being able to listen to every game on app for free.

But know Abromibich Werner and Tuchel are gone. So don’t follow as much. I do hope potter doesn’t good. Seems like a nice enough guy.

I follow a lot of teams based on what players play for them. It appears a lot of people due based on the America’s abroad thread

Unfortunately I see that sort of sentiment far too often. Imagine meeting an NFL fan that changes his favorite team based on who plays for them.

I didn’t say anything about it being my favorite team.

Didn’t realize you could only be a fan of one team.

What is this high school dating?

I guess no one on here is a fan of Fulham or Leeds. influenced a little by USMNT. I admit I root for both of them now solely because USMNT players are on them.

Sorry if that hurts your fandom feeling

Not trying to be a dick (maybe I am), but this thinking goes against the entire premise of EPL football.

It would be like being a fan of the Saints, Falcons, Broncos, Giants and 49ers, because they all have LSU players on the squad. No, you pick a team and support them.

I am a fan of clubs the same way I was a fan of women before I married. Even married there are still women I find attractive and my wife knows about it.

I was not the guy in high school or college that had one girlfriend forever.

Now do I put on a jersey or buy any gear and get in a kiss poor mode if a particular team Im pulling for loses. No

I like to watch entertaining football. I like to root for USMNT. And I think the better club careers out guys have. The better. So I’ll root for those teams out guys are on.

So I’ll be a fan of any club that plays entertainingly

Let me also add(and it may hurt people feeling). I’ll root for people based on individual characters
Marcus Rashford and Sadio Mane come to mind.

Now will I go out if my way to watch them. No

Do I like Man U. No
It give me joy to watch them out mcguire on the field.

Can they be horrible individuals and I barely know them. Yes

I have a busy life outside of watching soccer and posting illiterate content that’s usually ignorant on here. I Don’t have a lot of time to but energy into having a “favorite team”
Trying my best just to add content to the soccer board. My only friends.

And for record. I’m not trying to be a dick or argue. Just pointing out how I enjoy soccer. People have different opinions and enjoy different things.
Not sure why anyone would try to be a dick because it differed.
Is it hurting anyone?

If someone showed up at a local sports team game while in town on vacation. And cheered when home team did good.
I would not get pantries in a ruffle. I’d be glad there are fans at the game. It’s what supports sports
