Y'all expect far too much from people. Ziyech literally is starting his first game. Our entire front has about zero experience playing together, and they're doing it on shorter than normal rest after flying to Russia. Y'all are going to have to give them time to get comfortable playing together. Also, both our wide guys have not played with our outside backs and have no relationship with them. The next month or two is about getting results while people come up to speed.

I don't know that expecting to create a single good chance or any amount of sustained pressure over 2.5+ games is asking too much?

Our first choice XI has a new GK, new CB partnership, new LB, new RB, new #10, new winger, and new striker. It's not like we've got a streamlined team and are just slotting one guy in. It's an entirely new team with almost all of them coming from a different league. And they're just now all healthy. If you expected us to immediately gel, you set yourself up for disappointment.

Amazing how when you toss in the spark plug things start to pop off. I’m not a CP nutt hugger just cause he’s from the same country. When on the pitch things just start to happen positively. He’s got “it” whatever that is
