Agreed. He was low man out under Frank and TT resurrected his career.

I'm all in for Halaand, Kane, or even Lukaku. But if we somehow don't get one of those 3, Dusan Vlahovic would be a great fall back option.

Whoa. We're legitimately looking into Lewandowski? I would not have any issue with that signing. In fact, I would like that a lot. Had the pleasure of attending Bayern vs. Real Madrid when they came to Houston back in 2019.

Seeing Lewandowski in person (among others from both sides) was a delight. Given the scoring issues that we had during stretches last season, you gladly welcome one of the world's top Strikers.

Lots of noise about all those guys right now. Not sure what to believe.

Pretty impressed with Lukaku. I’d be good if Blues acquired. Assuming no Haaland, Kane or Lewandowski.

I want him badly at Chelsea. Would take him over Lewandowski easily (I don't think that's real anyways).

Doesn't look like Inter are interested at all though which is frustrating. Hopefully if Haaland is a firm no they will try again for Lukaku and they listen.

I thought Inter was hemorrhaging money and would be selling anything of value? I guess they’ll be more willing when the summer window ends but I’m sure chelsea will have moved on by then.

They are, but Lukaku is apparently off limits. Hakimi was their main target to offload this summer and once the market gets back up that's presumably when they'll try to sell Martinez.

Hope so. With Lukaku not trying to leave he will be available for the whole window. I also don't know about that last part. I don't think we're getting Lewandowski or Haaland and the options past that are too slim imo. Would rather spend the money on a Grealish.

If it isn’t Haaland, then we don’t get a big named striker imho. We are all in on him.
I stated in this thread last summer that he should have been our main target back then.

If Haaland doesn’t sign, then I would like to see us go after Dinamo’s Mislav Orsic.

He has wheels, his runs are superb, and...
he finishes. His issue at the club is that he lacks service from the middle to reward his runs.

If we don’t pursue him (and I don’t believe that we will) Leicester should go after him. He reminds me of Vardy (but more clinical). Hopefully they aren’t smart enough to go after him.

If we end up with nobody, I have a feeling TT will give Kai a shot up top. Play Timo to his left. Of course I’m assuming we sell Tammy and OG leave.

We can’t have Tammy and OG leave and not sign at least one striker. The depth would kill us.

Harry Kane is still out there. “London clubs” blah blah blah

Lewa could be a stop gap solution similar to the Thiago Silva situation.

Prefer Kane on age, but you have to believe Roman and Marina are going to make it so that Haaland has to say no to us.

If we don’t land him it’s because he didn’t want to come here, not because the offer was lacking in some way.

Lots of good years ahead of this Chelsea squad as young as they are, scary to think what they could yet grow into as well.

Lewa is still performing at prime levels. He would be elite with our playmakers.

If I'm getting greedy, sign Lewa and Haaland and we are set for the decade.

they wont, at least not this window. his deal is up in '23, so next summer could be interesting.
