Chilly is great. He should play more. Solid defensively and a threat to score.
Solid win and good bounce back game. That second goal was huge if we get into a goal differential situation. Mendy and Mount terrific. Rudiger very good too.

A team that can sub on Kante, Capt America, and Giroud (with Tammy the leading scorer on the branch) should be better offensively. Complete garbage by Kai today which is sucks because I think his upside is higher than Timo. Timo is Timo - high energy but little to show for it. If rumors are true, Blues will be adding a scorer in the summer and one or two of those guys (Timo, Kai, Tammy, Giroud) will be gone.

Man I don’t miss Barkley’s stupid shots from the top of the circle that have no chance of connecting. Sell him and the other on-loan baggage and free up some cash for strikers.

Havertz is so wasteful. No wonder he only has two goals all season.
Y’all think Pulisic gets a starting position now? He looked great playing more centrally. I love seeing him do that quick turn in the middle of the pitch and sprinting forward to the space behind the defensive midfield to launch the attack. Hoping to see more of that from him for the US.

I really like Kai’s game but he does bungle opportunities. Pulisic is better than Timo and should start but it’s his damn lack of durability that keeps him off. Every time he hits the floor I think he’s done, and he’s on the floor a lot.
All that said, very definitive win today. Other than a brain fart goal with the game well in hand, it was a pretty perfect day.

Kai looks like his shots are with 50% effort. No one on them. Let it rip man. CP with a great match. Mount is a staple of this team. Jorginho can leave the team for all I care...I’ll take pretty much any of our MF ahead of him, especially Kante.

Rumors of Kun coming to Chelsea...thoughts?
He’s crushed us for so long that it would be nice to have a proven goal scorer in the squad. I can see him pairing well with our wingers albeit his injury history makes me think we might get a half season out of him.

Big big big week for Blues. Porto tomorrow and then City in FA Cup action on Sat. City is beatable as proven by an undermanned Leeds and Porto is reeling. If Tuchel can get some silverware after taking over the trainwreck he inherited from Frank, he should be MOTY.

Porto is controlling this thing. Absolutely dead offensively not even sure Blues got a shot off this half. I don’t think the idea is to play for a draw but that’s how it looks so far. Porto will be desperate for goals next half which may lead to some breakaway chances. Will be interesting to see if Tuchel brings on Giroud or Timo to spell Kai who has done nothing.

Hard to believe there weren’t more yellows in this game. Someone was hitting the turf on every other pass. CP got beat up pretty good today.
Did just enough today but I worry when we really need a goal, who is going to score it? We’ll need goals against City on Saturday.
