I agree with this

A legit Keeper. Hell, PC on his headgear would have been an upgrade this season, even at 40+ years old.

Hindsight, but getting Navas in return for Courtois would have been a much better, and much cheaper, move.

I just fear we won't do anything in January and then slip further down the table until we are out of the top 4. Then who will want to come in here and play Europa all next season? I say make some moves now.

we've been awful in the final third since Cesc and Costa left. Club never replaced those guys and we relied solely on Eden to do anything.

Michy sucks. Emerson has been awful too. Kepa never seems to make the saves you need, which is made worse when every keeper we face makes multiple big saves per game it seems.

that was CHOs best game since he came back so thats a good sign. sell Michy and Giroud and sign literally anyone else and it would be an upgrade.

All of this.

Chelsea announce new shirt sponsor, Three UK. Deal with Yokohoma ends after this season. LINK Yokohoma have been paying 40 million pounds a year. Have not seen a number for this new deal yet so hopefully it is at least 45 million per year.

The way they announced it on Instagram was so shitty the caption for the image was "You wait 24 days for a signing, then Three come along at once..."

Like, do they want fans to actively hate the club lol

I would go after Nainggolan at Cagliari and Haland at Dortmund.

Nainggolan is a major upgrade imho. He is box to box, trackes religouslu, and distributes very well. However, IIRC, his wife has cancer and that is her hometown. It would still be something to legitimately inquire about. There is a reason that Belgium underachieved despite loads of talent...him not playing (Martinez was a fricking idiot to force him out imho).

As for Haland...he is legit. A player with more goals than games in the Champions League should peak our interest. Hell, he had a hat trick in 20 minutes for Dortmund in his first match for them.

At any rate, we nerd to do something and i'm just tossing out some ideas.

You think Dortmund is going to sell us a guy they've literally only had for like 2 weeks?

How in the hell did chelsea lose to west ham a few weeks ago? Geezus they suck. So many points left out there this year losing to crap sides or blowing late leads.

Was all excited when I saw bats had scored, then I saw the goal. He can’t seem to look good even when he gets on the score sheet these days, but it seemed he couldn’t miss when we loaned him to Dortmund that one time. I don’t get it.

Probably not...but make them say no. I would go after him with a good offer, then really good offer, then a great offer, then a monster offer. If we get him for anything less than a monster offer...that is a win. If we don't get him at all, then at least showed that we still have a set of nads.

Haaland was never gonna sign for Man U or Chelsea because Riola demanded a buyout clause. the plan is to 100% shop him around in a couple years when his fee would be 80m+. its a huge payday of the agent and entourage.

Chelsea should never sign a deal that gives them no leverage over their player's future, and neither should United. and not to be disrespectful, but that kind of deal is totally in Dortmund's wheelhouse.

If I was a player, I would 100% want him as my agent. and if I ran a club, I would avoid dealing with him as much as possible.

Plus, Chelsea, since FFP, are no longer in the position to fight regularly for the top prospects. its not like the mid 2000s where Roman can just splash the cash on the table no questions asked. the revenue just doesnt add up to barca, madrid, and man u to balance the books.

the club just needs to buy smarter.

I think your point is vastly understated. Name one smart buy since Kante.
