+1 on this. Third kit...not so much.
But..I don't understand why everyone buttons the top button on the white jersey.

Our boy finally getting his first goal. He's been good at setting up strikes, but it is good to finally see him put not one, but two in the back of the net

LET'S GO! This is what he had to do. Striking when he gets his chance that he's earned. Awesome.

Think we're not going to blow this one

Just finished the game. Mad props to the top boy pulisic. Really happy for him to come out of that dreadful spell with being left off the team, the benchings and the shitty international break. Well deserved. You can tell he exorcised some demons after that first goal in his celebration.

Weren’t you saying he was a failure and going to get loaned out just a few pages ago?
Posted on 10/26/19 at 4:29 pm to cwil177
Yes. He looked like shite. Lampard benched him, and it appears pulisic received the message. He’s looked much more direct, and engaged in his past few outings for them. I’m happy for him.

Took him a while to adjust but worth it. Hopefully he’ll get more time as he earns Lamp’s trust.
I don’t think it’s crazy to say the Blues will contend for second this season. We are not near full health and have won 7 straight.

Yeah I think that will al depend on the backline, and like you said there’s some more help coming. Chelsea have definitely proven they’re capable of scoring goals, but I think city and Liverpool are still a cut above everyone else. I do think a top 4 finish is certainly attainable though, and I think I had you guys finishing 5th or 6th preseason. Especially with how Tottenham, United and arsenal have looked.

Chelsea is feasting on lower-level PL teams right now. Warford is next then they start seeing the bigger clubs. That’s when we’ll see what they really are.

Credit to Lampard for how he has handled Pulisic, challenging him to earn his spot, and rewarding him with the start Saturday after a spell of good form. Huge credit for Christian for continuing to put in the work and stepping up to the challenge.
On another note, I'm making my first trip to The Bridge in February for home fixture vs Spurs. I absolutely cannot wait to be there.

I’ll be making that trip in a few years. Can’t wait.

Nice. My best recommendation, if you plan on going to a big match or later season match that requires loyalty points, is to sign up in July for the membership (they gave you 5 points for early sign up), and buy tickets for one of the early Cup matches (usually about £10).
My wife and I took too long to decide when we wanted to go, so I ended up having to buy tickets for Lille, Bournemouth, and @Everton just to have enough points to buy the tickets for the Spurs match. I wouldn't mind nearly as much if I could just give them away, but you have to pick them up in person from the box office within 48 hours of the match, so they will unfortunately go to waste.

That’s a retarded-arse system but Arsenal’s isn’t much better.

Wow didn’t realize it was so convoluted just to get tickets to a good home match. I’ll have to put some thought into that when the time comes.

Yeah, I could have made it a lot simpler by acting earlier, but this link gives you a good idea of the requirements for different matches.
Had I planned it out in July, I could have gotten the 10 points I needed just paying for Chelsea membership ($36) in July, Chelsea in America membership ($40), and the Grimsby League Cup match ($26), for a total of $102 before buying Spurs tickets. Instead, I bought both memberships ($76), Lille ($96), @Everton ($88), and Bournemouth ($144) for a total of $404 before Spurs tickets. It will still be worth it to see that match, but spending $300 less to do so would have be nice as well.
A friend of mine was in London last year, made a last minute decision to go to the Chelsea/West Ham match, and used Stubhub not realizing that third party sellers are illegal there, making it a risky transaction. The seller was supposed to meet him two hours before kickoff, and he couldn't get a hold of him until right at kick so he thought was scammed. He ended up getting in, but the listing said the tickets were in the Matthew Harding stand when they were actually in the East stand.
