Reports out of Germany have suggested Chandler is set to return to the national team fold and a game at Azteca would be a good chance for him to help repair his image among USA fans who aren't happy with the perception that he's not fully committed.

The only way to repair his image is to tear Marquez's ACL while heading a goal to win the game.

Yeah, if he's backing up dolo that's fine but I don't think he should just take Fab's spot because Fab has been great in that spot.

No. The Mexico game is a friendly.

Also, lichaj > chandler. Plus lichaj is actually an American.

The guy needs to stop playing friendlies and get cap tied if he's really committed to US soccer.

If we are going to run a 4-2-3-1 he could play right side of the three while Dempsey plays middle and Lando plays on the left.

Yea I dont understand why Lichaj hasnt been involved since Klinnsman has taken over. He is young, talented, and can cover at lb or rb, two problem areas.

He's just coming off a pretty serious hip injury

I'm pretty sure he resumed training in January. He's been healthy and playing games since march.

Agreed, and I can't see any way Jurgen would let that happen, the only thing that could take LB from Fab is an injury.

Chandler is a 90 minute Bundesliga player who can play RM and RB. If we wants back in the fold, we welcome him with open arms.

At least equal from what they've shown so far, plus like you said he's American.
I'd take Lichaj and Chandler at the backs with Fabian in the midfield, though.

I welcome Chandler back but this is it! No more chances.

Until we realize we need him again.
