Would Chelsea advance over Shakthar as it stands tied on GD and having more goals scored?

Shaqiri goal.

Fun Fact. All Bundesliga teams won their groups. In other news, tell me how my arse tastes Randy

I'm pretty new to watching soccer...but if the current results stay, and shakhtar and chelsea both have 10 points, would shakhtar be given the go ahead because of away goals?

what if Chelsea ends with a higher goal difference? (both are at 4 right now)

Yes but only away goals when they played each other (Shaktar won 2-1 at home and Chelsea beat them 3-2).

This is irrelevant.

well, now Chelsea has a higher GD than shakhtar with tied points...?

ETA: I see now. Yeah I thought away goals counted in this situation. I was just confused because my fotmob app has chelsea in second place now
