Admittedly biased but to me it was a little kick of the heels followed by a quick shuffle of his feet to keep shielding and then a greatly exaggerated fall that he needed both hands out to catch himself from.

ITV morons going on about how Arsenal have done all the hard work and the running.

The distance calculator comes up and Bayern runs 3k more than Arsenal

Yeah but going down easy is different from diving in my opinion. The contact was pretty dumb.

Like Podolski to get Javi booked?

Podolski definitely exaggerated after the fall but that was a clear foul and booking.

It takes a shitload of contact to knock someone down who is virtually stationary like Robben was.

Podolski's rolling around was gay for sure but that is a terrible comparison.

So they mentioned on Fox that 2 senators (didn't mention any names) sent a letter to FIFA to pull the 2018 WC out of Russia. Um I don't think they know how FIFA operates that well.

The play where Pdoslski caught Martinez on the half turn, and Javi came in to nick the ball since he was turned inside anyway? How is that related to Robben going down on a hip check, or the play where Robben dribbles away from Cazorla by a half yard, and then decides to go down?

Stop try to be rational with an unrational person.

His hatred of Arsenal blinds him.

its going to be a disaster like the Olympics. Only one modern stadium right now and the ones planned to be built for the other major clubs in the country don't even meet the minimum standards for capacity the WC sets.

Crazy how Putin pulls this stunt right after the Olympics.

I'd rather the 2022 WC get moved the hell out of Qatar. It's hot, and they're clearly stealing a spot from a real team.

Could any of their players even start in the A-League?

Oh and, frick Russia.

Watched both of the games today (more of the Atleti tie because it was a better match). I love the channels I have back at home. FS1 and FS2 on HD

First Costa goal was incredibly athletic. That dude is impossible to mark. Dandy is right about the Raul Garcia bicycle attempt. Six inches to the right and everyone would have been drooling. It was absolutely clinical. They will be a tough out in the quarters.

AC Milan held up well in the first half. Maybe it is just the name value of their players, but there seems to be no reason they cannot do better in league play. Kaka is still a badass though.

Ox was awesome. Only watched a little bit, but it seemed like Podolski was really trying to prove his worth to the Germans. Arsenal are going to have a pretty sick midfield eventually with guys like Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey, Ox, Walcott, and Wilshere all get healthy (if that is possible).

Bayern are just too good. I guess Real, Atletico, Barca, and PSG all have a chance, but they are disgusting top to bottom.

Love the ability to watch live HD games on TV, but I wish the ties were closer. Hope Man City scores an early one to make tomorrow interesting.

Those 4 teams definitely have a chance. Bayern was clearly the better team but this tie was not a blowout. Arsenal could've won if just a couple breaks had gone their way

South American players are notorious for diving. With the exception of Messi.
