i think he doesn't want to concede anything yet, for sure. our mindset has been so positive so far this season, i understand not wanting to frick with that.

I was really just trying to start shite. Not much positive going on with United at the moment. Got an email yesterday saying that the United game wasn't being broadcast ANYWHERE on ANY CHANNEL so I'm looking forward to coming home and watching this game on DVR.

The capital one cup should about as important to Arsenal as the capital one bowl is to lsu. It's probably more of a confidence thing, wenger doesn't think it'll good for morale to get killed by the first real English contender we play

Arsenal's midfield straight up dominating the match; although, no real threatening chances, and then of course Jenkinson commits a terrible gaff and costs Arsenal a goal.

If only Arsenal had a someone out there to aim for up top, they are possessing the ball around Chelsea's box quite a bit but can't create any real chances. They really need someone to make a good run behind who will actually convert the chance, or someone who will make a dribble and shoot without needing to be 10 yards or less out.

The disconnect with Ryo and Bendtner is obvious out there thus far, you can tell there is a lack of chemistry.

that was really frustrating. lacked a little bit of chemistry in the final third, but still shouldn't be losing.
jenkinson hasn't looked good, even without the gaffe. really surprised at how little Chelsea have threatened. the break off of their goal was awful which makes the goal even tougher to stomach.
essien has two shots that have gone out for throw ins, reminding us how unlikely his golazo vs us a few years back was.

I thought one of those was Willian? Either way Essien's not only went out for a throw in but almost went out behind the spot on the field where he shot it from, hard to do I'd imagine.

Nah, totally different player then. Very capable of that type of brilliance. As my favorite player and the reason I became a Chelsea fan it's hard to watch how far he's fallen so fast but I guess three serious knee injuries in four years will do that. Especially to someone who relied on pace and power much moreso than technical ability.
