Why have DC and Baltimore on that list, it's pretty much the same area.

As someone who grew up there. No its not

Might as well say nyc and boston are the same area.

Both cities bring something very different to the table

I heard somewhere that China is the favorite to get 2026. I would be happy with Canada getting it.

That would technically be three Asian countries in a row. Don't see it.

It will have to come back to North America soon then not again for a while. So I hope it's us when it comes
back.

Russia is considered Europe since they are a UEFA remember. An Asia country couldn't host since Qatar is hosting in 2022 and I think Europe would have to sit out till 2030 unless I'm mistaken. So it would either have to be North America, South America, Africa, or Oceania. I doubt New Zealand puts in a bid, I doubt Africa would get it again anytime soon, and I'm not sure if any other South American country would get it with the fiasco in Brazil.

Like I said, Canada it is.

On the wikipedia page it shows Columbia as a potential bidder for the games. I know they were awarded in 86 but had them taken away because of political instability. I think they would have some of the same problems that Brazil is having right now.

In reality, Colombia is a grand option. Really.

I expect Canada, Australia, someone like Argentina, Colombia, Chile, will try a bid. Can't think of anywhere else in the world that could host.

Australia would be a good option and I think they will bid for 2030.

I actually like it.

Next best thing to the USA since FIFA seems hell bent to go to places new and Hockeyland seems like fresh uncharted territory for Soccer and probably the easiest foreign trip in the World for the US fans.... Mexico would be awful.

Well Canada is hosting the women's cup next year and that will let them show FIFA how they do. If they host they need to really put a better effort in their national team because I think they currently have a 3 digit FIFA ranking and are actually behind Qatar. I think they do have potential if they can get it figured out. No reason why they can't atleast make it to the hex.

The idea of Canada hosting sounds fine. But since I want to see the USA host a World Cup where I'm old enough to remember, I'm going to hope they choose us over Canada. Assuming, of course, we do get around to bidding. If not, I'll simply hope it's not within CONCACAF.

Don´t get your hopes up. Canada´s never held one, and the US had one, not too long ago.

Change the World Cup to an annual event....

that's the only way to see it here before we're all in our 50s.

I think they should have it every 3 years.

Eh I don't think that will ever happen. It could end up interfering with continental competitions and would really cram in qualifying so less friendlies.

The only thing in our favor is that Canada's team is terrible and FIFA doesn't like putting two terrible hosts back to back.

I would be fine with this if it gave us a World Cup a year earlier.

You could do this every 3 years as well.
